Storypact: Your Horizon Europe Impact Partner

Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation in Horizon Europe. Storypact supports research consortia in turning outstanding science into measurable societal and economic impact. Building on decades of experience in AI and knowledge communication, we combine scientific excellence with advanced content optimization tools to ensure your results reach the right audiences — from the research community to policymakers and citizens. As an experienced Horizon Europe partner, we contribute to proposals and projects across Europe, designing integrated Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation strategies that deliver tangible results along the Key Impact Pathways (KIPs).

Key Impact Pathways (KIPs) at the Proposal Stage

Horizon Europe is a highly competitive funding scheme. To stand out from the crowd, your proposal needs more than just innovative ideas and solid science. You’ll also need to show how your work will make a real difference to both the economy and European citizens. Storypact participates in European projects at the leading edge between science and society — from AI-powered misinformation detection and sustainability reporting to multicultural knowledge graphs. We know how to bridge the last mile from research to meaningful application.
Key Impact Pathways (KIPs) are now at the heart of every proposal. They are your roadmap to making change happen. To bring these KIPs to life, you need solid Dissemination and Exploitation strategies. They are your chance to tell a compelling story of how your project will deliver the envisioned outcomes. Fortunately, storytelling is what Storypact is all about. Our contribution helps projects demonstrate measurable impact along the Key Impact Pathways (Scientific, Societal, Economic) and ensures alignment with Horizon Europe’s open science and innovation principles.

Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Plan

The Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation Plan is typically due within the first six months of a Horizon Europe project. It includes communication and engagement activities that promote the project and its outcomes, increasing visibility across a wide range of channels and target audiences. Tackling this task thoughtfully and strategically can turn your dissemination, exploitation, and communication activities into a community-building engine that continues to engage audiences and stakeholders years after the project concludes. As an experienced partner across multiple work packages, we can help you set up a plan that is both impactful and sustainable.

Scientific Dissemination Strategies

Each EU-funded project must publish peer-reviewed articles in leading open-access journals and conference proceedings to translate scientific excellence into impact. Knowing where to publish and how to amplify the results as part of an integrated dissemination strategy requires skill, experience, and a good network.
Storypact was built by entrepreneurial scientists. Our international team members are affiliated with leading universities and research institutions. They have dozens of peer-reviewed scientific publications to their name, spanning areas such as semantic systems, data visualization, artificial intelligence, environmental communication, mobility optimization, and more. The Storypact AI Editor is a powerful tool that helps the project team streamline publications with the needs of multiple target groups.

Business Innovation and Exploitation Management

Horizon Europe projects require an Exploitation Plan to ensure the project’s innovations continue as sustainable business models beyond the project. To achieve this, the business plan must be built into the project proposal from the outset, not only in the exploitation phase. This is how we ensure optimal exploitation of the project outcomes:
Trend and Technology Monitoring: The Storypact Explorer enables the whole project team to gain continuous insights into the market and competitive landscape. A dedicated market-watch strategy enables the team to tailor their innovations, anticipate market shifts, and make timely adjustments to the development roadmap.
Data Management Plan: A Data Management Plan (DMP) is required in Horizon Europe projects and covers the entire data lifecycle. It ensures strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the AI Act, and the Open Research Data Pilot (ORDP) recommendations. A well-maintained DMP is the foundation of successful innovation and Intellectual Property (IP) management that ensures maximum access to ideas while enabling the commercialization of your project’s innovations.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

At Storypact, we are uniquely positioned to lead project communication and stakeholder management. We develop content optimization and exploration tools that help communicators reach their target groups and increase visibility. Thus, we are deeply familiar with communication processes, trends and formats. We utilize our years of experience in EU-funded projects to tap into our networks and unlock the strength of every consortium to build and expand active, engaged communities. Our services include:
  • Project Website and Visual Identity: As the public face of your project, the project website and branding are typically due within the first months. Your website is the central hub for communicating project results - and with the right strategy, it can be much more than that. Storypact’s AI Editor helps improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), so your site ranks for the right keywords - during and after the project.
  • Social Media: An active presence on LinkedIn or Bluesky can help you reach a variety of target groups when done right. Storypact helps optimize and repurpose content, ensuring it is ready for distribution across multiple platforms.
  • Video Tutorials: As research communication becomes increasingly visual, video content is an ideal way to present your technologies and engage diverse audiences. We produce high-quality screencasts and distribute them on video platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo, as well as on research platforms hosted by the European Commission.
  • Demos and Webinars: Interactive formats expand your project community, build capacity, and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs).
